Testimonials

We pride ourselves on a friendly, efficient service and a caring approach at all times, putting the client’s well-being at the centre of everything we do.

Here are some examples from recent feedback received by the BCP Lifeline team.

"Thanks for the professionalism and the help (my husband) received yesterday. It really put my mind at rest that my husband will be well looked after if there is an emergency. I was very grateful with all the help calling 999 and arranging for P to be checked over. Thanks for a wonderful service."

"As he was at high risk of falls, my husband needed support to be able to leave hospital, and they suggested BCP Lifeline. BCP Lifeline gives us the security of knowing we have support and are always so friendly and helpful. They have arrived quickly when we have called for help, and what is wonderful is they call next day to follow up and ask how my husband is."

"My parents had trouble with their lifeline box when they updated their phone and broadband package which meant a switch to digital phone calling. The staff whom I called, via the lifeline box, were very helpful & arranged a visit from an engineer. The engineer was superb both in terms of his technical knowledge & pastoral skills with my parents."

"We are so grateful for everything you are doing to help Dad, as we feel helpless living so far away. Your staff are wonderful, caring and helpful."

"Thank you for the help last night when I needed an ambulance. I was initially very reluctant to have a Lifeline but am now very relieved that I have it."

"Sincere thanks for the speed and care throughout the stressful situation."

Experiences with BCP Lifeline

Considering a BCP Lifeline plan for yourself or a loved one?

Some of our clients explain what BCP Lifeline means to them and how it is enabling them to continue enjoying their daily lives, while remaining in their own homes.

Mr C

Mr C has lived in Dorset for over 30 years.

He now lives alone and has a BCP Lifeline pendant to give reassurance if he needs help.

He has suffered some recent falls and called BCP Lifeline to attend using his pendant. We checked there was no injury and helped him up using specialist equipment called a Raizer chair. Because he is unable to get himself up after a fall, the chair means he doesn’t have to wait for a long time on the floor. He says staff are helpful and kind when they attend. He also likes that we ring the next day to check on him following a call.

Mr C likes to spend time in the garden and feels safer in the garden wearing his pendant. We were able to come out and help Mr C when he fell in the garden. He sometimes forgets to test his pendant, but our team call him to remind him.

He attended a focus group last year, organised by BCP Lifeline, which was a chance to meet others, have some refreshments and chat about the BCP Lifeline service and provide feedback on the service they provide. We sent out transport to bring Mr C to the event safely. He enjoyed meeting the staff one on one and would be happy to go to another meeting if he could.

Mr C would recommend the service to others.

Mrs J

Mrs J, a retired teacher, and her husband, a retired retail assistant, live in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.

Mr J suffers with epilepsy and after a hospital stay, the staff suggested that a BCP Lifeline may benefit him as he was suffering from several falls.

Mr and Mrs J have used BCP Lifeline service many times in the last three years.

When Mr J falls over he is unable to get himself up and relies on the mobile response service from BCP Lifeline. This has helped with falls in the garden and even in the small space of an en suite bathroom. We have attended and helped Mr J up using the Raizer chair. Mr J says that the chair is fantastic and he always gets a fast response from BCP Lifeline.

Before Mr J had the BCP Lifeline mobile response service, Mrs J explained that he had waited five hours on the floor for an ambulance as he was unable to stand by himself - even though he was unhurt. Having the BCP Lifeline service in place gives them both peace of mind. The team are always friendly and helpful and give him a call the next day to check in and ask how he is.

Mrs J is able to go shopping knowing that her husband is in safe hands when she isn’t home. Mr and Mrs J have recommended the service to many others, because of the security of knowing that help is never far away.
